Stamped “LÖW. MADE IN AUSTRIA”, this bronze with brown patina is mounted on a polished limestone base. Total height 58 cm (22 ⅞ in), bronze height 40.5 cm (16 in). Provenance: Collection Bernard Laurent, Villefranche-sur-Mer; thence by descent to the present owner.
