Monumental forged iron and glass serpent coffee table, in the manner of Diego Giacometti, France, late 20th century. This sculptural piece consists of a bronzed forged iron base and a thick inset glass top. The base, with baluster-form legs and strap stretchers, features an X-form center with a forged knot and a stylized serpent—an emblem of transformation and eternity, often seen in Giacometti’s bestiary.
